At Canine Gut Solutions, our mission is to guide and empower dog guardians to uncover the root cause of their dog’s itchy skin by understanding the powerful connection between nutrition and gut health. We believe no one should have to navigate their dog’s discomfort, confusion, or constant scratching alone — and that every guardian deserves clear, compassionate support.
Through education, whole fresh food guidance, and step-by-step coaching, we help you confidently nourish your dog from the inside out, reduce inflammation, rebuild gut balance, and create long-term healing. Our mission is simple:
to give you the knowledge, tools, and support to help your dog thrive — naturally, intentionally, and never alone.

Before I became a Certified Canine Nutritionist, I was just a dog mom desperate for answers. My sweet French Bulldog, Izzie, was constantly itching—red skin, inflamed ears, licking her paws raw, and waking up in the middle of the night scratching. We tried every allergy med, prescription shampoo, and food the vet recommended… but nothing truly helped.
I knew there had to be a better way. That’s when I started diving deep into canine gut health and dog digestive health. I learned that her symptoms weren’t just “skin issues”—they were a sign of something deeper going on inside. Once I started feeding her real food for dogs that was fresh and species-appropriate, everything changed. Her skin cleared up, the itching stopped, and I got my happy, energetic girl back.
Izzie’s journey is the reason I do what I do. If your dog is struggling like she was, please know—there is hope. And it starts with what’s in their bowl.
12/20/2025 It saddens me to say Izzie has since past away due to cancer. It was a sudden onset and a loss I feel will take me a long time to recover from. She was an amazing dog a one of a kind, one that whenever someone would come over she was their favorite dog. I will always miss you Izzie, thank you being my teacher.

I spent my career in the veterinary field working in animal hospitals in a variety of roles. Over the years, I worked as a receptionist, ER technician, exam room technician, surgery technician, and eventually finished my time in the hospital as a rehabilitation assistant helping both dogs and cats recover and heal.

Helping animals in need has always given me a deep sense of purpose. Through my experience, I’ve come to believe that if canine guardians truly understood how powerful nutrition is, they would see that our dogs can thrive from the inside out by building nourishing, balanced bowls that support their health at the root.

I received my certification through the Feed Real Institute, where the training combined in-depth educational materials with hands-on experience. The knowledge I gained there became the foundation of the work I do today and continues to guide how I support my clients and their dogs on their journey to better health.

I believe dogs and their guardians deserve to understand how to properly nourish their bodies. When we fill our dogs’ bowls with wholesome, nourishing foods, we can dramatically improve the quality of their lives. No dog deserves to live with chronic allergies or ongoing digestive issues like diarrhea. Once we know better, we can do better for them.

No matter what your dog’s bowl looks like, the real power comes from understanding what goes into it. I often see perfection hold clients back from getting started, but when we work together, my goal is to remove that overwhelm. You don’t have to do this perfectly — you just have to start. I’m here to guide you every step of the way so you never feel like you’re figuring it out alone.
